“I ordered Proov because I recently had a chemical pregnancy. I was worried about my progesterone levels and my ability to have a normal ovulation. When I took Proov I always had a faint line, which indicated that I had a "weak" ovulation. I was going to call and discuss with my doctor but it turned out to be unnecessary because I was actually pregnant. These strips caused a lot of extra anxiety for now reason. “Great concept but confusing. I like these tests but they can be very confusing and you need to follow a very specific set of directions in order to get accurate results. A bit pricey as well.”

“I decided to use Proov in conjunction with ovulation predictor strips and BBT charting to get pregnant with baby #2. According to my LH strips and temp charting I had clearly ovulated, but according to Proov I did not. Since Proov claims to be a more accurate predictor of ovulation, I was panicked, immediately thinking something was wrong with me. I followed the directions carefully and tested on day 7 through 10 past peak fertility using first morning urine. Each time I tested, I received negative results (confirmed with the Proov app). According to Proov, I did not ovulate. But low and behold, a couple of weeks later, I received a positive pregnancy test. I was in a complete panic (and still slightly am), worried that my pregnancy wouldn't be viable because I wouldn't have enough progesterone, or the egg was low quality as a result of my Proov tests. However, I am now 14 weeks, and so far all testing has come back great and baby is healthy and thriving. I think Proov needs to be careful with their wording. Saying that you haven't ovulated with 4 negative tests, clearly isn't accurate. I have read about several other women that have ovulated and become pregnant despite getting all negative Proov tests in the same cycle. This ended up causing me a lot of unnecessary worry and stress. I conceived with my first daughter on the first try and then with this current one on the second try, periods are regular and uneventful. I haven't had any signs of fertility issues like my results would insinuate.”
