“I left a previous review about this ring, how the gold was coming off and I actually used a tarnish removing pad, called Pro Polish pads and it easily took the remaining gold off. Im not sure if any other type of cloth would work but this one for sure will. This is the only thing Ive tried it on you could try it on other gold wash pieces you may have. But I was surprised on how good it worked. Its like I bought the one I wanted- the plain silver wave ring. The pads are really cheap, you can even get them off of ebay for a few bucks. I also recommend them for all jewelry. Ive used mine on all my sterliing pieces, even a few solid gold pieces and it takes all the yucky color off and makes your pieces look shiny and new again. I never recommend any solutions what so ever. Only plain white toothe paste with no whitening solution or any other additives and luke warm water. Rub it into your piece then rince off. Best natural solution for jewelry.”
