“This is a really hard rating to give. First of all, let me start by saying from an aesthetic point of view, I LOVE the Pura Vida Products. That being said, the marketing for the product for the line is all supported with a "beach life" theme. There are pictures of the girls wearing the products at the beach and around the water. So I have purchased multiple metal pieces. They tarnish sooo quickly. I recently purchased the metal "coin" bracelet and it's adorable but it's tarnished and looks like something that was lost at sea for years but i have had it less than 6 months. The wave earrings I have that I love, the posts look like they have a metal rot to them. Now, I know this is not real gold or silver but if the products are being marketed as "beach life" wear I feel like they should be more sustainable in that element. Also, I have purchased just a regular rope bracelet. My bracelet unraveled so quickly and it's near impossible to put those things back together and involve using a lighter to melt the wax around the threads.
