“I am presently in my 94th year and 6 years ago I had a right hip replacement which unfortunately gave me a right leg shorter by 2 centimeters. This gave me a "lean to starboard" which I managed to cope with, but for the last two years I have been obliged to use a walking stick. About a year ago, my right knee became swollen and developed a nagging pain, which worsened to such an extent, that I considered a wheelchair.
