Thanks for your review, yes it quite heavy at 25kgs as stated in our listing, the carrier requires a certain amount of structural steel to yield the 90kg carrying capacity.
The clip/arm is not intended to go on the cross bar as most modern E-bikes now have a battery positioned on the cross bar or no cross bar at all. You can position the clip/arm anywhere on the frame of the bike . Please get in touch and I would be happy to go over it with you.
