More color than the other portras.

Portra 800 is a fine film. The grain is quite good for its iso. The latitude is also very good; I was able to shoot very high contrast scenes with no exposure compensation, and the results came out very good. Its grain is very similar to that of Lomography 800, but Portra 800 is more pushable (+2 push). Cinestill 800T may have better grain (I haven't looked into that yet.), but you can shoot Portra 800 in daylight too. If you want to shoot without worrying about shutter speed (indoors and outdoors), you can go with this film.

Portra 800 is one of the best films around. Highly recommended.

Favorite 35mm film stock but extremely hard to find now. Thankful that Reformed had it available when no one else did!
