Love the Fomopan series. I use this mainly in concert and night photography because push processing comes out nicely and I don’t have to suffer in low light.

fomapan 400 is my go to black and white film. absolutely love the contrast of this. works great indoors with flash or outside with landscapes and cityscapes. will be buying this film again!

My photos came out just alright, but I think that is user error. It was my first ever roll of film.

By far this is my favorite BW...over Kokak Tri X. I think the formula is still the same that has been used for decades, unlike Kodak which has changed a bit thru the years. Solid grain, as I like, and while again, contrast is not strong...it offers what I want especially as I can provide contrast in Post. The sharpness is not that important to me. I find this a 'rough and ready' film stock....if you like your photos to have grain, a bit rough around the edges, this is it.

Great film for the price! Can’t wait to shoot it.
