“I’ve always been a fan of Ilford HP5 and Cinestill BWXX, but have heard nothing but good things about kentmere 400 so I decided to finally buy a roll. I understand why so many people love it. It has great latitude and is very well balanced, similar to HP5. The biggest standout to me though is the price! In a world where buying film is so expensive, I think I paid $7.00 for a roll from Reformed Film Labs… what an incredible film for $7!!”

“It's hard to beat the Kentmere 400 in terms of value. Despite being a budget/consumer film, I've gotten nice results that are contrasty and sharp enough for larger prints. While I do enjoy pricier Ilford and Kodak films too, I almost always have a roll of kentmere kicking around. I treat it as a great everyday film and shoot it without overthinking or overcomplicating my process.”
