It's a little different from what I'm used to but it works as good or better then I expected.

My new stove heats my husband's workshop nicely. We no longer have to struggle with getting an old stove started. We like the look of the new stove and how we can load the wood easily through the front.

Love my Regency Stove. Keeps my 2000 sq. ft. home very warm. Has helped to keep the heating bill down. Two small complaints, but I would still buy another one in a heartbeat: The air tubes slide out very easily so if you try to pack your wood in, they will fall and become an issue to put back in if you have the fire going. The fire bricks on the bottom tend to break apart. Only burned a year and a half and they are cracking and coming apart. Could just be user error as well.

This is a wonderful stove brand. The stove is well built and was readily available. I purchased this stove for my smaller log cabin. I initially bought this with the intent to use it as a supplemental heat source but will probably end up using it as a primary heat source when I'm home. That said, I have a smaller cabin which was why I chose the F1150 however if you are going to use this as a primary heat source, you'll want to consider a larger unit with a larger firebox to hold more wood. I fear that come next winter, I won't be able to bank enough wood before going to bed to last the night. This has nothing to do with the stove itself hopefully someone reading this may re-consider the smaller stove if they plan to burn a lot. There are concerns as well to have about a larger stove as it will consume more fuel and take longer to heat up. All said and done Im very happy. The only other suggestion I would have is to consider a fan unit. I couldn't afford a $500 regency fan unit but I found a smaller replacement fan off Amazon for like $40 and retrofitted it to the stove. It works very well. I also don't need a lot of fan, just enough to get an air-current going. I have ceiling fans, etc. to move air around the cabin.

Perfect size for my small house. Heats really well. However, the necessity of using a separate handle to open / close the flue is a nuisance.
