“Good : ease of operation, more or less instant heat, no wood dust, no smoke. Bad: expensive on gas. Will be double the cost of wood heating for the winter. However I accept that I live in a rural area with relatively cheap wood”

“Loving it. A cheery addition to my room. Plenty of heat. But few worrying things. yesterday when I switched it on there was a big whoosh and flames reached nearly to the top. - not done that before. Quite a strong burnt coating smell too. Sometimes very noisy just after it starts up then it settles to quiet. I asked the Gasworks shop about that but they had no thoughts on it. A couple of times when I pressed off it didn't go off.”

“Ease of operation. looks great as a piece of furniture. Cheaper to run than the air conditioner. Keeps all areas of the large room warm. However as we are getting old, it is a little hard to know which heat level the flame is at and it is mainly guesswork. Apart from that - we love it.”
