“I had a new Regency Horizon HZ30E installed during remodel in 2013. Cant leave on for more then 30-45 minutes. It gets dangerously hot on top left side. Smells really hot too. Can not put hand on wall it's so hot. I watched the install and every detail was followed by the builder. I believe it is a design flaw as the fan unit is on right side of unit. Blows more cooling air on right side. That side stays cool to touch. Have called Regency but no call back.”

“Initially fireplace did not work due to a defective part, once replaced it worked fine. Did not like the design of the fireplace for setting into the wall. We had to add a metal frame around the fireplace to cover the access across the bottom of the fireplace”
