“This seems to be essentially the same unit my father put in his house over 20 years ago aside from some cosmetic differences (brass door trim, etc). I was always impressed with the classic look and performance, other than cleaning it never needed anything. Now that I own a home, I bought essentially the same model and have been enjoying the increase in heat and wood burning efficiency compared to the open fireplace I was using the last two years and expect to get a few decades out of this one, too.”
