“Great quality product, highly recommended. I gave my son the body pillow and the Latex pillow. My son reports it has improved his should pain and he is sleeping better. I am so impressed with the products I bought two small body pillows for my grandchildren for Christmas. They love them!”
“The pillow is great and is doing the trick (saving my hips), but there are a couple of caveats that wouldn't prevent me from recommending the pillow but I see these as achieveable improvements:
1. Too heavy: I am a bear of a man, can lift most humans and very heavy things. This pillow seems too heavy for the women who are clearly the target audience for this product.
2. The filler is "too shredded": when removing filler from the pillow, quite a lot of it comes out as little bits, which make a big mess and are not salvageable.
3. Off-gassing takes a while: unsure what the solution is, but the smell put my wife off using the pillow (fine by me because I need it more!).
Other than that, it's a great pillow. I wanted a natural pillow, organic cotton, and this was the most affordable one that wasn't a "cooling" pillow (which I don't want). Happy to say this thing does get warm and does not get cool through the day (so it doesn't contribute to a cold bed).”

“I love the pillow. It has really helped with my lower back pain. I don't wake as stiff and in pain.
My beef however is the smell. It has an intense chemical smell that is fills my room and that prevents me from falling asleep.
I've washed the cover, left the pillow out in the sun to air out. It's been about 2 months and the smell is less intense but still present.
I'm sure in time the smell would fade, but I recommend a review of the packaging. Maybe something breathable to let it air out?”

Organic latex can have an odour when first purchased, however, you are correct in saying that in time the smell willl disappear. Rest assured that even though there is a smell, this is not off-gassing, as this is natural/organic latex and there are no chemicals or gasses used in the process. Please do air out your latex pillow, but do not expose the latex to direct sunlight or a heat source. Hi Nancy, thanks for sending in a review of the Kakun Organic Latex Body Pillow. Sleeping with a body pillow not only stops your shoulders from collapsing, but also aligns your hips and spine.
