“Love the look and feel of the hatchet and it has a nice weight to it. The edge comes sharp enough to chop with, but could use a sharpening if you're really trying to get after it.
As someone noted previously, while the sheath looks great and the materials are nice, it is not the best design. The top-insertion design favors wearing it on a belt, but when in a bag, or in a tent for instance, the hatch blade tip slips out the top of the sheath and I worry it will tear a hole somewhere unintentionally. “The nice detail shown on the website (metal tip on the heel and knotted detail of the paracord) was false. There was a plastic heel and just green wrapped paracord that was glued down.”
“The hatchet arrived relatively quick, first thing i noticed was the very cheap sheath for it. Ill be making a new one as my hobby is leatherworking. The hatchet had good balance and feels good in your hand. I would of given 5 stars if the sheath had been better quality.”
