“I left my last pair on a trip and was so bummed I had to get another pair immediately. They feel slightly softer and more flexible than the original ones I bought. They also fixed the fold in the fly with Velcro. 17” is perfect. 31” seems slightly larger than normal. The utility pocket is kind of useless and fills with water when duck diving but overall these are my favorite boardshorts.”
