“There are a lot of options and companies out there for boardshorts. The Chiller Boardshorts has some basic features that works. Personal experience thus far has been that for me knowing that it is not a swimming trunk, and thus having an underwear (that can be water friendly and breathe well) is key for comfort while wearing these trunks. The back velcro pocket is nice with a loop lash that can attach to things like keys or other things. The front mini loop can attach a clip if needed. I kind of wish at least one of the two front pockets had a zipper built in - personal preference. Also, the front groin area to pee is small and supported with a velcro which can be an issue for some people. It dries when wet in a decent amount of time. Time will tell if these boardshorts will last with "normal" wear and tear. Also, it was used for standup paddle boarding - not for swimming.”
