“Fits and looks great. It has just the right amount of insulation to give it the warmth of a hoodie, but more light-weight, packable, and weather resistant. Its extremely versatile and easy to layer. It was a bold design choice to exclude insulation from the back, but this definitely prevents overheating when you're active or indoors. If you're looking for warmth specifically, consider other options; but if you want versatile functionality - one jacket that can do it all - this is it.”
“Love this jacket as an all-around every day jacket regardless of the weather. It’s definitely on the lighter side but can be layered up for colder days. I’d describe it as a windbreaker plus, meaning that it’s similar to a windbreaker, but has just a little bit of padding for extra warmth, but is 1-2 levels down from a from a puff jacket. The jacket has a great look and pairs nicely with jeans. It’s closer to a slim fit for a more modern cut. I also like that the fabric is soft and not crunchy or stiff like a windbreaker/rain jacket can be. It’s great for travel since it’s lightweight.
One thing I’ll mention is that the jacket is supposed to be able to pack into one of its pockets for easier travel. However, I’ve found that the pocket is a little too small to fit all of it and it’s really tight. I’d like like to see them (in version 3.0) make that specific pocket a little larger to make packing the jacket away easier.”
“This jacket checks the box for its design and has great style. I travel often and was looking for a light jacket that would also provide warmth. My back stays dry when lugging around a backpack and bag on frequent trips. It is sleek and not bulky at all. By itself, an extra layer shirt will be helpful in colder conditions. I have felt my back slightly cooler when not carrying a backpack. Overall great jacket for travel in mild to moderate temperatures”
“Great jacket & My go to! I also have the 1.0 which I love & did like the Sherpa in it, but the new revised 2.0 is an upgrade with better insulation!
the only thing I would be aware of as it does not fit like the older sizes. I believe they have a new manufacturer (They should not this for Roark lovers) and the medium is a little tighter.... because it’s a jacket I advise going one size larger I’m a medium and almost everything and while it does fit the large gave me just a little bit more room and was not too baggy. I’m a medium (5’10 -180 lbs - 42” shoulders) in almost everything in clothing market ..med does fit, but the large gave me just a little bit more room & was not too baggy.
I think this goes for all of their clothing jackets I like to wear stuff underneath so the largest perfect when it comes to their Norseman flannels the mediums fine because I don’t wear much underneath it other than a very thin shirt.
Hope this helps!”
