“Really enjoying this jacket so far this spring, it's been in a handful of thunderstorms and kept me completely dry. It does run a tad longer than I expected in the sleeves and body. The construction and material is top notch.”
“Roark prides themselves on being the blend between form and function and this jacket proves that right. It’s beautifully designed and aside from a synthetic fabric goretex rain coat from Arcteryx it’s fantastic as bring water proof. It will wet out eventually because it’s not goretex, it’s twill. But the waxing really works and as long as you keep up at waxing when it’s wearing down the water will keep shedding right off. No joke. I stood in my shower for 10min and the only thing that started to wet out was the seams in the shoulder and the jacket was kinda damp after that. You see pictures of guys riding motorcycles through the wet and muddy countryside in this jacket on their blog and I truly believe it served those guys very well and that’s not just some marketing gimmick. I think the jacket worked well if you asked the guy in then picture his opinion he would say it’s a rad jacket totally kept me dry and looking fly.
I got a large and I’m 6’3” slim build and the length was perfect (it’s a longer coat below the butt) and the draw string waist hit perfectly.”
