“Just picked this up at my local outfitters and I’m impressed so far. I have other waxed jackets and this one is less waxy if that makes sense. In fact it says it’s machine washable which is usually not recommended for waxed canvas. But I can tell you that my other waxed jackets one of them stinks it’s so waxy and the other I get clammy in because it doesn’t breathe. This one seems perfect. I like how it hits right at my waist so not too long. I’m not familiar with the brand but I’m a fan now!”
“I was not familiar with this brand, but took a chance. Turns out this was exactly the jacket I had been looking for when I started shopping for a waxed jacket. The weight is in that sweet spot to where it can be layered on really cold days and still be a protective outer layer or worn in Fall and Spring with a little chill in the air. The materials are high quality and I expect will only get better as the jacket is worn and broken in over time. I already get compliments wearing it and at this price point I'm really not sure if I could have found a better jacket. I will definitely buy more from Roark in the future.”
