“Would opt for other pants due to the drawstring and zipper combo. It's not like other drawstring pants that have a closed waistband. I would prefer if the zipper part were removed and just have the drawstring, or a zipper / button combo.”
“I wanted to love these pants, as much as I love all other items I’ve purchased from Roark. Especially considering they’re one of Roark’s best known products.
However, I was pretty disappointed. The drawstring doesn’t keep the pants up no matter how tight I tied it. (And I certainly bought the size.)
Every time I stood up from sitting I’d have to pull the pants up.
It’d be rad to have at least a couple of belt loops to at least have option for a belt.
Additionally, they’re too slim.
I knew they were slimmer than the Hwy 128’s (which are the best jeans I’ve ever purchased.) but they were just a bit too slim.
Roark please make the layover pants in a straight or relaxed fit option. Please.
Lastly it’d be great to have that back stash pocket on the left side as well for us left handed folk.
On a positive note , some of the best material for pants out there. Great stretch and color options.
A better way to keep them up & a different fit option, I’ll buy every color.”
“My husband is obsessed with these pants, he has two pairs of them and wears them for everything - flying, hiking, camping, road trips, relaxing at home, you name it. They are super comfortable and lightweight and look awesome on him; he especially loves the string closure as opposed to a traditional zipper and button. He wants them in two more colors!!”
“I love these pants and just ordered my second pair in another color. Super comfortable and the zipper pockets are great. FYI, they don’t have belt loops so if the pants are too big then they’re just too big. I am usually between sizes so I ordered a size down on my second pair. They haven’t arrived yet, but know if they’re tight at all, the tie closure will allow me some flexibility. These are great for guys with muscle that have trouble fitting comfortably into other pants.”
