Loved the fabric and the style - but the fit is a problem. I'm 5'11", and wear a 31 slim. However, the waist is a bit big on these pants - even when I cinch them with the ties. Cinching them somehow allows it to stretch a bit as I wear them, so they don't stay up. The waist measured 33 3/4" - And the legs are uncomfortably skinny. I tried sizing up to a 32 and the pant legs are good - but then the waist is huge. Frustrating as they are otherwise really cool pants.

Best traveling pant period. Comfy, functional and stylish. Love the green as it goes well with so many options.

Great features and price for theses pants... but here are a couple of things that would make them perfect. Going from a 31 to 30 waist reduces the leg openings too much (I will need to tailor the 31 waist to make it fit correctly). Pockets are too low and make carrying heavy phones or cycling with anything in your pockets difficult.

First off, I cannot say enough great things about Roark's customer service. I have the previous generation along with this new pair and will go over a few key differences. The fabric is pretty much the same and breathes well. They may be a tad slimmer than previously. In terms of fit these are going to be similar to Levis athletic that has room in the thighs and tapers towards the bottom, so if you have an athletic build these will work well. But if not these may not necessarily be the best choice for you. A notable improvement is a new drawstring which now goes all the way around and is thinner than the older bulky one. I will say that the endcaps still seem to be rather flimsy and come off easily. I would suggest using metal ends instead or going for a higher-quality drawstring.
