“Dang, I was looking for something I could travel with, get on/off the plane and head straight to some meetings in city, dinners, etc., but after 2 tries I have to throw in the towel on these.
Pros:
- I love the rear right hidden phone pocket, since I often put my phone there anyhow.
- I like these are mostly cotton, as all the recycled poly pants out there are really unbreatheable and I feel like I'm destroying any chance of having kids.
Cons:
- They run super tight in the calves which makes them really annoying to get in and out of (#jeggings). That's the opposite of what I want in a travel pant. Sitting isn't a joy for that reason, either.
- The boardshort drawstring closure feels over-designed. I mean, okay, but what are you really gaining here? Maybe just go with an elastic waistband instead.
- The fabric just seems too stiff. I know they need to be sturdy and resilient for a travel pant, but sacrificing comfort won't help me on a cross-country flight.
- Sizing is off. I'm a reliable 30 in most everything and that was way too tight. Exchanged for a 31 and the crotch was wayyyy long while the calves were STILL like jeggings.
