“This is my first experience with Roark running shorts. Overall, I love the look of the shorts. I'm not sold on the material either, but it might grow on me. It tends to stick to you if you sweat a lot, which isn't always appealing. But I do like how thin they are and the stretch. The fit was my biggest issue. Since there is no elastic in the waistband and you have to tie the shorts, they tend to ride up to the waist while running instead of staying at the hips. It's only when I start to sweat that they stay in one spot for me. Also, I don't like fit of the internal brief liner, which at times feels like more of a thong than a brief! The rear pockets are awesome and is definitely one aspect of the shorts I would keep.”

“Great fit, super comfortable and love the style. Unfortunately, I don't think the graphics printed on the shorts could handle the Houston heat. I went on a brief jog on a particularly hot day (105+ degrees) and literally watched as the graphics slowly started peeling off of the short. This was many my fourth or fifth time wearing the shorts, and I always wash/dry them inside out on delicate cycles, so there had not been much wear and tear on them up to that point. Disappointed but hopefully my experience was an anomaly.”
