“I'm a longtime Roark supporter and longtime Layover series advocate, but I hate to say that these shorts missed the mark. The material is very heavy; far too hot for most shorts weather days. They're also a touch too short for the type of material they are and the way they drape (or lack thereof). The zippers for the pockets get trapped to where your fingers can't reach them to pull them out, which makes them really ineffective. Additionally, the "carbon black" colorway is definitely not black -- more of a charcoal grey; even the stitching is grey.”
