“I have been looking for a jacket like this for a long time. I do not like the longer cargo/military style jacket out there that fall below the hip. This jacket is the perfect throw over for spring and fall. It has magnetic closure pockets-so cool! It is comfortable and roomy enough for a ligth sweatshirt underneath and is really a great looking jacket. Soft and well made.
As far as fit, I normally wear a MD in Roark tops, though truth be told, I probably fall inbetween a SM and a MD. I am 5'7", 135 lbs with a thinner build. I purchased a SM and MD just to see which was best. The SM gave me room for a light crewneck sweatshirt underneath without being tight. The MD gave more room, but without the sweatshirt, it looked a bit too roomy. I will probably be using this coat 90% of the time with just a single shirt underneath, so I opted for the SM. If I want to wear a sweatshirt, it still will work. The MD also gave more length to just below the hip bone (look at website pic of model wearing the blue jacket) where the SM was at the top of the hip bone (like model wearing the green jacket). Honestly, either one would have sufficed, it is just a matter of preference. I would not have worried about washing and dryng the MD, but will hang dry the SM. I purchased the green and love this so much I am considering the blue. Maybe I will get the blue in MD just to have the different look!”
