“It's not size-inclusive, or even what I would call size-friendly. I wear a GAP medium, and had to send the L back for an XL here, and it still feels like I have a corset on. Many of these boutique clothing sites, I find, are not really making anything for a female body size past an 8, and I would say the same of ROAK. Though their clothes often look cute, they're not, IMHO, really for everyone, nor do they want to be. I am short (5'2"), and it is okay on length, but I will still have to cut some off. The fabric is stiff, and I am hoping lots of washing will loosen it up. As I bought it on sale for half the price you see here, I am not allowed to return it. Very difficutl to take off to use the restroom.
I chose the large, initially, based off of ROAK's size-finder, and though I could get it on, it was not a comfortable fit. Because I bought it on sale, again, folks, half the price you see here, I was told I could have a one-time exchange only, as a courtesy. I did not have to pay for return shipping. I hoped for more room between a L and an XL. There is about 1/4 inch more, so, again, not actually enough to be comfy. I will wear it with either a tight "squash everything" undergarment, or donate it to my size 6 sister, who might be able to squeeze into it.”
