“A truly excellent course delivered by 2 extremely competent individuals. The course content seemed to me to be very well thought out and not, as I have often found to be the case, a very vanilla regurgitation of lean principles etc. The facilitators, Jason & Andy, clearly have a wealth of experience and it is obvious that they live and breathe this sort of stuff. I really liked how they were able to frame concepts in a number of different ways to help the group gain a clear understanding. I feel that I gained much more than just Black Belt training when I attended the course and would not hesitate to recommend Lean Consulting in the future”

“I thoroughly enjoyed the Black Belt course and have come away with a really positive attitude of how to apply in my own business. The dynamic of having two tutors worked brilliantly and in complete honesty, if I were to resit the course again and it just be one or the other of them, I am not sure I would be so quick to book. That's absolutely no detriment to either Andy or Jason as they are both so knowledgeable and experienced. For me, I found that Jason speaks very well around technical elements and having built the toolkit we were working with, was very clear in his explanation of best practice. Meanwhile Andy brings to the room a wealth of experience and an ability to interpret our learning and apply it to 'our [the delegate's] worlds' which helps to cement the technical learning by applying context. The content of the course itself followed a clear structure against the DMAIC model and working through the simulation enabled us to instantly apply our learning. The delegate packs are packed full with all slides covered which I have already found myself referring to since being back in my place of work so very useful to have this to come away with. As a not terrible mathematically minded individual, I found some of the equations and calculations we were learning quite tough at times but both Andy and Jason were incredibly patient in answering questions and making sure no one was left behind at any stage which was excellent as I never felt out of depth. Thank you Lean Consulting - especially Andy and Jason, for a jam packed week of learning and an arsenal of tools to help make some really positive change.”

“I really enjoyed this course, and felt that both Andy and Jason made a marked effort to help me directly apply the learnings to a fundraising environment. I felt that having both Andy and Jason taking the course together was really useful. They were able to combine their areas of expertise to deliver a balanced and insightful course. Particular highlights for me were: - The excellent toolkit and resources I was equipped with to go away with and use (particularly the excel toolkit) - The efforts that Andy and Jason went to for helping me to identify and apply learnings to my own work. - The clear structure and outline for the weeks course Some feedback for future improvement: - At times, we ran over time, so perhaps at times being a bit stricter with us on time. - Some of the examples given I found quite hard to understand in terms of my own sector and work (perhaps sometimes feeling geared towards engineering).
