“Okay so when they said its sticky, it’s sticky-sticky. It’s also much looser than the typical hard edge gels. Like some people, I can be sensitive about textures, so I understand how important it is to know what to expect.
Butttt hear me out: it’s completely worth it. I read everything about this product before purchasing so just remember that the tackiness is a small trade off for healthier baby hairs. It will take some getting used to, but don’t abandon it after the first use. I found that using very little water on my finger tip before dipping into the gel helped alleviate some of the tacky feel during application. My edges are 4a/4b and this gel was with a doubt holding me down. Just be sure you wash it out between uses like it says.”
