I don't think it'll impact its function; more of an esthetic preference, as I've seen another brand without any seams, but chose Fat Daddio because I was happy with their other products.”

The picture shows a ring that is wider than high, exactly what I needed. I admit that I should have read the description better, but the rings are “mile high”, 3 inches.
Which makes baking pastries in them a challenge.”
