“I both really like and dislike these brushes. This is my first time trying this type of pastry brush.
Pros - spreads oil on pastries or containers way better than the silicone type brushes do
Cons- The brushes really soak up the oil. (All the way up the bristles to the point where the handle is wet/marked) So I do go through a lot more oil / butter than I usually do
Cons- The bristles come off during use. So my containers and food items have 'hazards' on them and I have to do thorough checks, double and triple checks to make sure there are not bristles where they don't belong. I am am wondering if at some point they stop shedding? Does this happen because they are new?
I will give them a little bit more time and uses before deciding if I would order them again and possibly discontinue using in my bakery business.”
