This activation enables Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality. Not for MSTD_EU_SE units. Ateca (1st Gen) 2016 – 2020 All Ateca up to MY2020 used MIB2 Standard; MY2021 onwards moved to MIB3. Arona (KJ) 2017 – 2020 Two SD slots and wired CarPlay confirm MIB2 Standard. Ibiza (KJ Mk5) 2017 – 2020 Same MST2 hardware as Arona and Leon. Alhambra (7N, late) 2016 – 2020 Later units used MIB2 Standard with SD navigation. Toledo (NH, late) 2016 – 2019 MIB2 Standard available on higher trims. Software Version Check To verify compatibility: Your SW Train Version must begin with MST2 and end with T or D . Not for MSTD_EU_SE units. Unit must have 2 SD card slots (navigation models). Versions that end in P01xxT or P05xxT Important Information If your SW Train Version ends with P02xxT , you must perform coding via OBDeleven or VCDS to activate Apple CarPlay and Android Auto display menus. Note for Early Vehicles (2015 / 2016) Some early vehicles (2015 – 2016) may require a USB port replacement to enable Apple CarPlay functionality. Android Auto will work without hardware changes.
