“Stunning to look at, even when not powered on. The variations of both colour and saturation, as well as brightness of the light source is great for diffused mood lighting. As Philips suggests, these lights are clearly not suitable for direct room lighting, but are great for adding an ambiance beyond the scope of a normal light bulb. As other people have stated, you need to be careful not to throw out the basic "get you started" instructions which are located under the base packing within the box. More detailed instructions with text, are available online on Philips website, which makes full use easy to understand. There are many You Tube video reviews/guides of these lights; but once you have had the remote controller in your hands for 5 minutes, there is not much more to learn. Highly recommended; may now have to buy another 3 though for other rooms!”
