“The colour's great, a very dark olive. The branding is understated, also great. But while the body fit is fine, the forearms feel much tighter than the navy Merryn I bought last year which has become a wardrobe favourite. The material feels thinner, too. I notice production has moved from China to India. While I applaud this, there may be some more bedding down needed. I'm hoping that with more 30c washes and line-dries the new Merryn will 'relax' a bit more. If it doesn't, the current Merryn will remain a disappointing successor to the original.”
