Two points. Your size guide recommends Extra large for a 36' waist. In fact the large size is a generous fit. Second, may I suggest a sheet leather tip, similar to the fitting holding on the buckle? Alternatively a brass tip. The tip will get more wear than any other part as it threads through the belt loops, and I feel that it might unravel over time.
