“My rescue dog suffers with Chronic vomiting and IBD, she is fed a prescription diet as it is the only food we have found that stops her from vomiting. She hates the dry prescription food, so we mix it with a wet version or the prescription diet - which she enjoys slightly more, but still not as much as she used to love her old food! We try to feed her small amounts of other food/treats to keep some variety, but most of this can still make her vomit - thankfully, not only did she love the Scrumbles dry food and treats, she also hasn't vomited once whilst using these in addition to her prescription food! Really well done to the team for making a diet that supports sensitive stomachs which doesn't have my dog turning up her nose and going on a hunger strike! Would heartily recommend this option to other dog owners struggling to find a suitable food for a dog with stomach sensitivities!
The reason only 4* not 5* would be because of the 'recyclable' packaging - unfortunately it is still plastic and as most recycling can get rejected and sent to landfill anyway, the option of using a similar compostable packaging as is used for the treat bags would be worth looking in to - I'm always happy to pay more for an eco-friendly product, as I understand the expense behind the process.”
