“Early July now so these have been growing for just over two months outdoor in Southern Ontario. Getting a handle on the training with all the side branching has been a challenge, but it's finally taking shape. I'm impressed with how forgiving these plants are with my beginner's attempts at LST, which weren't exactly "low stress" at times. A few times I thought I had messed up and things looked really sad, but the plants are very resilient and fill back in very quickly. Seems like I got two phenos- One very classic sativa looking with an oily scent, and another one with broader leaves and a more fruity scent. Oh, and the Bangi Haze freebie I got is doing gangbusters - there's been no stopping that one from the word go. I just hope they flower early enough in August that they can finish before the weather turns nasty.”
“It has a good structure, decent size buds and dense. Didnt handle the rain at all. Had to pick early but still okay. Better to cross it with a good Thai.”

“Malawi is at week 12 and put them into flower. They are 4 days into now. I am growing Fire OG also. The Malawi seedlings started showing signs of cal mag deficientcy as soon as they ate their seed pulp. Monitor cal mag early they love it. I am in my 7th use of 707 soil. Like starting with dead soil I learn more. They like to display red stems. Its ok to have a little red. That tells you you are not using to much cal mag. They are nitrogen sensitive also run it lower early on. They are in 15 gallon pots. They around 30 - 40 percent larger than the Fire OG which grows out smaller usually. I am using fox farms. Do not follow a nutrient chart it will probably kill them. I have been averaging using about 1/4 to 1/3 of fox farms chart dosages. 46 years exp.”
