“Second attempt at growing "Gorilla Glue". First attempt, seed sprouted and started growing quite quickly. After a few days the seedling was 6 inches tall, and that is when disaster struck - I left the grow tent flap open when I went to water it, and the cat found it and nibbled it down to a stump. Now before anyone wants to report me for animal abuse, rest assured everything did work out... We contacted a vet we trusted explained what happened, they asked how he was, oh he was flat on his back in his bed, all four feet sprawled fast asleep purring heavily. Oh he was fine, just had a really good sleep. And that was just the seedling.
The second seed started just as fast (now with extra grow room feline oriented security) and settled into a steady vegetative growth for 5 weeks before blooming. It has been a continous bloom for 8 weeks and the coalas really fat and the Tricholmes look like a heavy frost.
We grow 2 strains side by side, what we noticed is that Gorilla Glue is VERY VERY sensitive to nutrient levels (soil growing). while the other strain drunk nutrients like a sailor on shore leave, those same levels for the Gorilla Glue caused nutrient burn. Despite the heavy burn, trimming the dead/burnt leaves away and the plant recovered quite well - in fact it probably induced some stress and the buds exploded into growth once a nutrient comfort level was attained.
A sample dried and smoked, this was an amazing muscle body relax without dulling the mind. That night we slept well. So Gorilla Glue is our new favourite nighttime 420 of choice.”
