“I started with 5 seeds. I popped 3 of them (paper towel), and placed them in cubes in a cloner along with a number of other strains. The 3 Cookie G13 Super Auto's all died when they reached about 3 inches in height. I took a guess that it was some sort of mold that only affected this strain.
I popped the remained two seeds (paper towel method again) and put them in cubes. As soon as they lost their seed helmet I moved them directly into hydro setup. These two survived. They are about 10" tall now at 4 weeds in a greenhouse. They are fairly healthy, although there is minor signs showing possible of nutrient levels too high (minor hint of upside down canoe shape on some of the leaves). most of my plants are not showing any issues, so these seem like they are telling me that don't like to be pushed very hard at this stage. Water Nutrient has been running an EC of 0.8 for the last week. Prior to that the EC was 0.7 and no signs of this issue. I dropped the EC back down to 0.7 tonight to compensate for this. Last year at this date I was running an EC of 1.10 with no problems, although the plants this year are laregly a couple of weeks behind due to the cold weather we were having for a while.
So, in summary, they don't seem to like to spend a lot of time in a humid environment when they are starting out in cubes, and they don't like to be run at fairly low EC. Watch the leaves for any signs of excess nutrient.
70 days to go till harvest. My opinion may go up of they work well from here on out. Sad that 3/5 seeds did not make it but live and learn I guess.”
