“Love this strain, I have had great results every time I've grown it, the seeds have always sprouted, and they grow nice, I mainlined mine into 4 main tops, then put it in a scrog, Huge! Very happy, so far I've always picked Garden of Green seeds because they are so healthy, Great colors on this one too”
“In the beginning.. There was a promo for Cali Bay Dream seeds, so I actually got 10 of them. I have pretty descent results, but only 1 of these popped. Once she started, she was a very healthy grower. I actually riveted eyelets on the top of my air pots, so I can tie her branches down as she liked to grow like a thick bush. The 1st only grew to about 2.5-3ft (75-90cm), but clones hit 4ft easy (120cm). She didn’t seem to like the full 600hps, so I turned it down to 400 watts and she liked it better. Even for her smaller size, her yields were fairly impressive. Now comes “testing” time. This was probably the most energetic bud I’ve ever smoked. I already have too much energy, insomnia, etc.., which is why I usually choose Indica Dom’s. Well Cali Bay Dream wound me up so tight I couldn’t sit still. Made brownies with it and I was even more jittery.. The only time it was actually useful for me was when I was exhausted, but needed to stay awake longer. Smoke some Cali and BING! I’m awake!! It is a relatively strong strain, but did NOT help me medically, nor five me a good ole stone like you’d expect. And oh... Mine had ZERO purple to it, even going a few weeks pass the recommended harvest time.
This may not have been a good choice for me, but may be great for users with low energy, lack of motivation, or sleepiness.”
“Got a 3 pack to give it a try. The seeds looked immature from the get-go but had high expectations nonetheless. Sadly not a one popped. Maybe a little quality control would be in order?”
“so i bought a 3 pack that came with 2 free so 5 total. the packing including multiple others strains came damaged 2/5 strains cracked. my cali bay came in a weird packaging that broke 2/5 seeds and the 1 i grew molded oddly right at start. im not sure but i had a really bad go with everything this spring and this was the worst strain of all.”
“The seed I received was a whopper, very big and fat. It looked good honestly, like it had potential! Unfortunately it failed to germinate. :c
I've since ordered another seed to try my luck again, fingers crossed!”
“Got 5 cali bay dream fem seeds. Not one got past the germ phase. Whether paper towel method or soil media same outcome. The seeds I received were immature in appearance when I got them and the germination process revealed the lack of vigor. Not impressed.”
