“many better genetics both cheaper and at the same price point. 1 comparable strain and i'd say better value and quality is washing machine by ripper seeds its exodus cheese x bubba kush and i think since its more of a hybrid with around the same finishing time and better yield. id prefer it especially considering it is $64 cad for a 5 pack of hso bubba kush but ripper seeds charges $40 cad for 5 seeds of washing machine. And if you have doubts about ripper seeds since they are from spain look at the awards washing machine has won since being released.”
“grew 2 outdoors this year since i got them as freebies i live in canada harvested 24 of september finished as early as my northern lights could have went another week or two but had to harvest early. bubba kush was one of the densest nugs i've harvested so far this year and although the two phenotypes i got didnt taste like the bubba i know bud structure trichome coverage and overall bag appeal was all higher than my original expectations. taste wise it was almost hashy with a little piny and coffee but only one pheno had coffee and it was on the back end of the exhale. Not the biggest yield both my pheno types seemed to be afghan dominant also although it is listed as an og kush x afghan it is actually a pre 98 bubba S1 according to humboldt seeds when i asked them.”
“Nice strain. I was really surprised by it actually because of the name. Another Humboldt success in my book. Not a large plant, but I have only grown a few so far. I can probably increase my yield from plant one day soon, but it wasn't awful, and buds where large and swollen with resin. Very resinous, candy smelling kush. I love this strain. Plant is very resilient to pruning.(I heavily train and prune all my plants). I grow indoors so I am very picky, but this strain definitely gets a high rating from me. Reminded me of jolly rancher from smell for some reason. High is a nice, heavy, soothing feeling, with the lovely couch lock too.”
“This is my first time growing Bubba, and I don't think I let it veg long enough. It hardly stretched during flower and as a result got swallowed up by those strains that did stretch. It stayed small and produced a small amount of very potent bud. I'll be letting this one veg a long time and giving it space away from the big plants next time.”
