“I purchased Blue Mystic Feminized seeds and received autoflowering seeds for whatever reason. I didn't realize this until she began flowering on her own without switching the lights over to 12/12which is a huge bummer.
Another issue is that I had to keep emailing about my order. I understand that these have to go through a process to get to my country, USA, however after over a month of waiting for a tracking number I finally decided to message them about it. As soon as I do that I received a tracking number and the shipping was rather speedy.
The girl herself is growing quite well, just really bummed out I received the autos rather than the photos. Limits what you can do with her.
For great quality I would recommend ilgm instead. Their shipping time estimate is always spot on and I have yet to run into any issue with the quality of their strains.
Would I recommend seedsman? My first time experience here would be a no, I would not. If they were going to send me autos, I shouldve been reimbursed for the price difference.”
“Amid the plethora of thousands of seed varieties now available, personally i cant fault these Blue Mystic Feminized seeds for my requirements. [n.b. NOT the Mystic Blue Auto flower]
It took a while to find the right stock [and i have to say with no thanks to the seedsman team who when asked were so wide of the mark it was puzzling?] but i'm glad that i persevered as the Mystic Blue by Nirvana have not disappointed.
What i was looking for were a variety that were:
1. medical so not too 'whacky'
2. high CBD
3. short stature [around 1metre]
4. LOW odour
External research pointed to the Mystic Blue which indeed is low and bushy with lots of thick resinous buds with a surprisingly low odour. The CBD is doing what is required with a pleasant THC 'stone' that wont put you on the ceiling or invite Boris Karloff round for tea. Its perfectly possible to work with this strain [no machinery obviously] or settle back after a hard day plugged into your favourite Mozart.
This strain wont take the top of your head off [whats the point in that anyway??] but at 18% THC its no puppy; with the CBD balancing out the hit nicely (reminiscent of the old style 1970's Rocky Gold)
Also has a fantastic flavour, with a low odour.
i grew two plants in a small NFT tank & 90x50x150cm tent. A bit cramped but worked out fine with tremendous white root bowl.
As other's have remarked, its probably best to ease back on the nutes with this beauty.
Apart from the whacky variety recommendation from Seedsman, i can honestly say that the rest of my experience with Seedsman has been overwhelmingly positive. From the website layout through to final ordering was easy and hassle free AND NO HIDDEN COSTS! Price of the seeds plus postage - simple (The p+p was very reasonable).
