“This is a beautiful plant! My grow started green as any other strain and then slowly from about 3 weeks onwards the smaller leaves close to the stalks turned their tips purple. When the first calyx appeared it turned purple within a week. Buds pop up purple with almost lime green pistils coming out of the flowers. Towards the end of the flowering period 3/4 of the plant was completely purple, a very dark purple. When my buds were super ripe, the fan leaves turned red/golden and the buds got even darker.
I had a spicy phenotype and the plant didn't get much taller than 60cm. I would recommend this strain for those who want to try purple buds for the first time, or for those who want an easy strain to grow (hint: Cooler temperatures at night will make this strain turn very dark purple), but also to those who just want a beautiful plant to show off. “This Purple Auto strain has been an amazing grow, from seedling to harvest has shown true resilience. Despite the fact I severely burnt the plant with nutrients towards the end of the grow, it recovered quickly after defoliating some of the dead leafs. It took very well to supper cropping and LST despite being an autoflower. This is by far my favourite, give or take a few weeks into flowering the leaves and buds start to turn a beautiful dark purple. Grown in Coco Coir, this strain enjoyed a life-long bottom feed from the drip tray and a irregular top feed to keep the top of the coco moist.”
