“Small, frosty, and fairly dense bug. Earthy, lemon, pine, relaxing buzz, a little sleepy. Doesn’t like training, stretches to double in four weeks. 10 percent amber in 10 weeks for me. Overall satisfying. May pop one last bean in a few months or so.”
“I've been growing for 30 years now, and I only want high CBD strains. I mix this one with Skunk Haze CBD to increase the CBD to THC ratio to a level that works for me for my personal medicinal needs. Also, by blending strains I get a broad range of turpines.
CD-1 is very lemony / citrusy in smell & taste. Skunk Haze CBD is very pine like and the two compliment each other. Quite pleasant overall.
Plant is not very self supporting when in full flower - tends to fall over under its own weight quite unlike the Skunk Haze CBD which is a very sturdy plant.
It seems to root when cloning faster than the Skunk Haze CBD. I found the CD-1 slow to get going to full size compared to others, but once underway, normal. It reached maturity 2 weeks earlier than Skunk Haze CBD. It was ready to harvest 6 weeks after going to 12 hours of light per day, whereas the Skunk Haze CBD takes 8 weeks.
Bottom line: If you are looking for a CBD only type strain I can recommend it - though to be fair, it is the only CBD only strain I've grown. I'm happy with it, and will continue to grow it.”
