3.9 Rating 7 Reviews
I have grown Afghani the biggest part of my life but this has been bad from the start I ordered feminized seeds two of the three were male the one female has a genetic problem every leaf has a leaf that is not formed properly it does not even look like Afghani it don't look like an Indica at all the leaves are long and thin not short and fat the plants tall and lanky the smell does not smell sweet at all it smells more like pepper kind of like a Mexican I definitely would not buy this brand seeds again

Afghani #1 is a good all round strain. I only have experience indoors hydro but she produces nice short, fairly thick buds with little to no side branching in shorter plants. Buds are medium in smell, with pleasant taste / smell less fruity more piney. Medium yield so a longer veg. stage will increase overall production. Easy to grow, nice and tolerant / resistant . Short flower cycle 45-50 days.

I only have experience with this indoor / hydro. Good strain for experienced or beginner's, Easy to grow and resistant. Short plant with minimal or no side branching in shorter plants so a longer veg. stage will be needed to increase overall yields. 45-50 day bloom cycle. Produces solid, thick kola bud with pleasant smell / taste more piney than fruity. Medium smell. Medium yields. Great Indica high.

These were the first seeds I ever bought back in 1997. Back then I paid $150 for them. These have probably been cultured and tamed down from when I bought mine, even though they were easy enough for a first time grower to grow. The seeds I had were quite capable of stretching. They were stated to be connoisseur quality Indica buds, and they were pretty much correct in that regard. I am sure if I grew these seeds today, I would do much better with them. The Afghani strain is quite basic and primal to much of cannabis hybridization all over the world. From my experience though, if you want an Indica to curb stretching, and homogenize heights, you would want their Hindu Kush. I would say though that the quality of the Afghani smoke is more towards the higher end of the Indica spectrum.

This plant is just special, the first strain i ever grew brought from seedbank, and the best i have ever grown, easy to grow & produces so much resin even the biggest fan leaf can be dusted in triclomes. A must for any true grower, now that it’s available as fem will probably be on my shopping list every time. Long live Sensi Seeds.

Overall I'm not exactly sure why it's taking so long for flowering, it's been almost 7 weeks I'm in flowering tons of hairs, but they have not swollen yet. The genetics are extremely hardy it's defiantly a plant with very strong genetics. I hope to master the benefits of using this strain.
