“I purchased 10 seeds of Alaskan Diesel Auto FEM - delivery was fast and discreet with no issues regarding delivery. I planted 10 seeds in total over a span of 2 months - the first 2 seeds broke soil and continued to grow with no issues and i was able to harvest them successfully. Paper towel method and planted in soil - the seedlings broke soil in a matter of 3 days and continued to grow with no issues at all with wide, deep green leaves - the stem of the plant is quite strong and thick. As indicated by seedsman, the plant went into flowering with on the 4th week from breaking soil and was harvested 12 or 13 weeks from seed.
The buds are thick and frosty with a beautiful smell that is quite intoxicating - they are not very odorous and are perfect for people who live in apartments or areas where growing this beautiful plant may cause issue - They are very amenable to LST if you wish to keep your grow discreet and small.
Emboldened by my success and the speed at which i was able to harvest, I planted the rest of the seeds in much bigger pots but unfortunately for me, the rest of the seeds however did not break soil at all - 1 seed broke soil but could not shed its seed shell and died - the rest did not break soil at all even after 2 weeks of waiting and hoping that they were late bloomers. The seeds were stored in the same box it arrived in and were placed cool dark place.
The same soil mix that was used to successfully harvest the first 2 seeds was the same one used. To be certain and to remove any doubt pertaining to user error or soil issues, i took 4 seeds from unknown origin (bag seed) and planted them in the same pot - all of them sprouted and are growing healthily and with no issues - the Ph, moisture and temperature of the soil was monitored daily.
I primarily chose Alaskan Diesel Auto as it was regarded as one of the fastest growing strains and the lack of user reviews and grow diaries did not bother me - why?, because it was fast and seedsman were well regarded in many online forums and among growers.
This was a downer for me as seedsman were the first international seedbank I have purchased from and i was hoping that the 10 seeds i purchased and its eventual bounty would last me for atleast 6 months - but it is not to be and as such, here i am again placing another order for a different but popular strain (zkittlez) with a lot of grow diaries.
The order was placed on Dec 2021 during holiday season and as such, the response time from the team was a little slow but understandably so - I have no complaints pertaining to seedsman as a seed bank but rather for the strain. This is just my experience and as such your results may vary.”
