CBDV 1:1 Auto Feminised Seeds Reviews

4.1 Rating 31 Reviews
Let me begin by saying i popped TWO (2) CBDV auto seeds, grew them under two (2) cheapo amazon WAs (~220W in total), in 3gal (~12L) fabric pots. No means a 100% full expression of the plant, as I had to cut both today (June 30th, 2021) due to the extreme heat my area suffered. The two i popped, popped on different days, so as of day of harvest, CBDV1 is 74 days old, CBDV2 is 70 days old. The phenotypes are thus: CBDV1- 'Red Vein' pheno, this is going to be the one to hunt for most. It grows spectacular, glossy golf balls, even under weak light conditions. It seems to like to be taken a little longer than 70 days TOTAL -mine popped pistils on day 16- especially if you dont mind a small % of white pistils in your bud, as it hits its last bulking phase around day 69. This pheno really likes calmag. You can push this pheno pretty hard, it'll foxtail a little under heavy feeding but thats an aesthetic condition, and doesnt affect quality of medicine. Its incredibly easy to tell if you have this pheno, as the venations in the leaves will always grow red. Not purple, red. It seems to respond well to topping, i had to do so because of height restrictions, and it rewarded me well for it. I'll have a good 20-28g of medicine off of a single 18"/ 50cm plant. Do be aware that even though this may be the pheno to look out for, she is still a finnicky plant and you must treat her with respect. Otherwise leaves will yellow and fall of in the hands of a newbie grower, like she did on me. THE SMOKE: Ive had a couple tester nugs from a branch i snapped off accidentally, and the page is pretty spot on. Notes of woods DOMINATE, touches pine, fir Balsam, hemlock, apple, and more. Honestly reminds me of getting a bit of sawdust in my mouth during my construction days, but much more pleasant. As far as potency goes, I noticed a very calming effect directly after smoking her, like a gentle, stress-reducing hug. PHENO 2: HUGE THAI influence here, stretched to 3 feet/ 90cm with a good 8-10 cm between nodes. This one is my personal favorite because of the absolutely explosive growth she undergoes. Feed her light-med in the first week or two, then pump her when she flips cause she'll need it. But ease up after week 4 of flower, i didnt and started stressing out the plant, she gives warning signs really early on, dont ignore them. She is NOT a heavy yielder at all, in total i expect 10g from a 90cm/36" plant, but she glistens and shines in a way the other pheno doesn't. Slightly more trichome coverage than her sis 'red vein', is what that means. I suspect she could probably go to day 80-90 if you really pushed her, but I personally didnt want to risk it. THE SMOKE: tester nugs really showed out, where 'red vein' was like a walk through a forest, this pheno is like when you finish walking out the forest and step onto a beach. Cant describe the profile as anything other than ocean breeze and wood. Shes as finicky as her sis 'red vein' and more, so i dont believe this is what people would call 'hunt worthy', but if you get this pheno dont fret. You'll still get powerful medicine. All in all, some stable genetics that i plan to use for a medical condition (migraines) as CBD\V research is learning much about the anti-spastic qualities of these cannabinoids every day. They can handle heavy feeding, HOT TEMPS ( 12-24h spikes of 35-40C temps), and a newbie grower without herming out. If you or someone you care for is interested in this, i definitely recommend you grow it out for yourself.
