“This is a follow up to my review below. One seed ended up popping, it hatched on June 20. It is now Sept 19. I firsy noticed pistols 5 weeks ago. They are still small but coming in. The plant smells delicious. It 9" tall and 15" wide. A bushy plant. I don't think it finishes til November. I think its strong on the Mazaar side and weak on the ruderalis side. Anyway, this is really interesting and its its going to be perfect.”
“Bought a five pack because I like Mazaar il sharif. I thought the auto would help to negate mid atlantic mountain weather. My observations are that this is a tough seed to start. I started by soaking in water for 24 hr. Following this seeds were placed in cups of appropriate seed starter. one seed popped after 3 days. they other seeds remained dormant. After 12 days, during which time the seeds were kept moist with a spritzer nothing happened....I carefully excavated the seeds using a toothpick...none had popped a root. Following, I put these seeds in a wet paper towel between plates. ...Nothing...Following this I cracked the seeds manually using a small needle nose pliers. (the seeds cracked as though dry)...These seeds were then placed in the wet paper towel for two days ...nothing happened.. They are now in moist seeds starter for 3 days. and wetted with worm juice..nothing still....BTW i have used seedsman in the past and always had success!”
“Only one out of 10 hatched and turned out to be a runt . Such a shame coz I'm an indica lover , on the other hand the alaskan purple autos I purchased are faultless...”
“I absolutely love Mazari and was so excited to see it in Auto form, I purchased x5 seeds. Not sure if it was COVID and/or the delays involved then, but only one seed germinated. Said seed was a runt (5 days to sprout; 3 typical) and died three weeks in....
But I think I love Seedsman even more!!! They do not guarantee germination, but all other seeds from same purchase germinated at 100% (bunch of x3 packs => 12 viable plants!). Getting opportunity to test Alaskan Purple Auto as replacements.... (stay tuned!)”
