So far 1 of my 3 seeds has been a dud. The 2nd seed sprouted no issue. Haven't tried the 3rd yet.

Northern Lights is a resiliant and hardy strain, that is great now new growers. The effects of the bud are calming, cerbral, mild buzz that does not disappoint.

I received my order in the most prompt and secure manner and contained Northern Lights feminized seeds. Everything during the growing phase went amazingly well. I harvested/dried and am now curing the buds--some really nice size buds. However, I tried out some of the buds I am curing and a ton of seeds came out of the buds. I don't mean a few seeds, but a heck of a lot of seeds--almost 1/4 of some of the buds was seeded and the smoke from the remaining bud seemed extremely harsh. This is in comparison to the Mama Mia bud grown from feminized seeds I received for free and the Amnesia Auto seeds that I planted and harvested within the same time frame--with big beautiful buds and without incident or seeds and amazing taste. I'm a first-time grower in California, due to my suffering from Multiple Myeloma cancer and wanting to control the grow process of my medical cannabis. I was under the impression that growing with feminized seeds would result in no seeds present in the harvested buds. I didn't have any male plants and there would be no reason for Northern Lights to have been stressed to produce seeds, as I previously stated it was grown along with the other strains, which didn't have any seeds. I have no clue as to how this happen, but I'm very disappointed that I went through the grow process without any indication of this occurring and now the big beautiful buds I was looking forward to with great expectations are really only 3/4 of smokable cannabis and as I said the smoke seems to be quite harsh in taste to the point I think it's unbearable for me or any of the other cancer patients in my group to smoke it without causing pain to our throats. I feel cheated in that what I paid for in full turns out to be considerably less--for no discernible reason--no stress factors or indications of problems. All of the other 2 strains Mama Mia & Amnesia Auto) planted along side the Northern Light plants turned out incredibly well. This just can't be the iconic and extremely popular and easy to grow strain, I'd heard so much about and was influenced to purchase. Northern Light has turned out to be a surprisingly and disappointedly dark experience. Maybe it was a bad batch of seeds. But for months doing all that work definitely makes me feel like I got the short end of the stick and my all my time and efforts were cheated. And when suffering from a life-threatening disease, there's no time and effort that can afford to be wasted. I think with this situation even healthy people would feel the same way.
