30+ years growing, grew lemon skunk for several years until 2010’ish when I dropped it. Wanting to come back for the beautiful, trichome-covered, dense little buds with the over-the-top lemon flavor and skunk buzz from years ago, I bought greenhouse’s version of lemon skunk from another source. Those seeds were NOT the delicious lemon skunk I grew before. Those seeds produced stretching, hermaphroditic, low-flavor buds that cross-pollinate everything else as best they can, and probably before you notice the few sparse male flowers. Thinking I got scammed by the other source, I ordered the same from Seedsman. As usual, shipping was quick and delivery very discrete. I’ve ordered from Seedsman before and since. Anyway, those seeds came out the same: unimpressive, fluffy buds with no special flavor and occasional male flowers to piss you off. SO, I stumbled upon DNA Genetics version of lemon skunk here on Seedsman and am waiting for them to pop. If you want The lemon skunk, look up DNA’s version here. These are not the seeds you are looking for!

I love skunk as a strain and this variation of that particular strain does not disappoint at all. The buds are light and leafy which I like sometimes because the flavor ends up being better. It tastes fruity and does have the sour taste of lemons somewhat. The high is very energetic and heady which makes it great for anxiety and depression etc. I give this strain a 8/10 and recommend it to patients seeking a day time medicine for anxiety and or depression.
