“These seem to be good seeds. In general, conifer seeds seem to be notoriously difficult to germinate with very low success rates - even when you do everything required, such as cold stratification and so on. But I got three seedlings from this small pack of 'blue spruce' so I think that's pretty good. Now I've just got to keep them sheltered and properly hydrated through the unseasonal heat of the 2024 spring we're having in eastern Australia. Anyway, it should be fun to watch these little trees grow up.”
